Ingredients
- 650 g Frozen fries I used shoestring
- 1 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 small onion fine dice
- 1 green pepper fine dice
- 1/2 red pepper fine dice
- 6 oz tomato paste 155ml (1 small can)
- 1/3 - 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425℉ and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

Sloppy Joe Sauce
- While the fries are cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, onion, red and green pepper and saute until no longer pink. Drain the fat, leaving about a tablespoon in the pan.
- Add the rest of the sauce ingredients (except cheese) and stir until incorporated. Remove from heat.
Arranging the Fries
- Once the fries are cooked, arrange on a sheet pan. Spoon over the sloppy joe sauce and top with cheese.
- Bake at 425℉ for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with parsley, green onions, or any toppings your desire.
